One of my many photos of Shahira Barry was in The Sun yesterday (Irish Edition). The only difference is this time I got a credit. Yay for Shahira! Above is the online tear sheet, and below is a snap Shahira made of it, and of the smaller one on the front cover.

I can’t say I’ve ever had a photo go viral before, but my shot over the Supermoon last Saturday is appearing all over the place. It’s been shared and reposted so many times, I’ve lost track. Loads of request for it so here’s the deal. It’s even on Broadsheet.ie and the Galway Advertiser’s Facebook cover photo.

There’s been loads of interest in copies. I do print Fine Art prints on Premium Lustre paper. These use special long life inks, guaranteed for 70+ years under glass. A 10″ Print is €50 including packet shipping anywhere in the world. An 18″ print is €70. A larger 30X20 option is there at €200, but only for more recent images (including this one).

I appreciate that a lot of people can’t afford that, so I’ve done a run of A3 posters like the image at the top for €10. Postage is €7 on top for that, or can be collected if you’re local.

Forgot to blog the Behind The Scenes from my Sexy Santa shoot with model Shahira Barry. Makeup and Hair by Samantha Craughwell. Shahira’s been getting more and more popular on the modeling scene in Ireland, with loads of national newspaper appearances and promo work.

Even worse, when the days were great recently, I was already booked in studio shooting stuff that needs to be shot indoors. So with the amazing mix of sun and little fluffy clouds yesterday, and no studio booking, I had to get out (despite the biting wind). Initially I contacted a model who’s been itching to do a lookbook with designer fashion, but she wasn’t feeling well. All was not lost though, and the wonderful Ciara K Gallagher was available and up for it. Ciara does a lot of hair modelling, but she’s much more versatile than just that. Unfortunately for me, and probably fortunately for Dublin photographers, she’s moving to the capital this summer.

We did a few looks and locations, and unusually for me, there’s only one outfit. Here’s my favourite from each set. Some are stronger than others, but I want to show the whole natural light shoot. Stick through to the end to see the sunset as we headed back to the car and into the warmth!
