Printers: As if deciding between an Epson R1800 and R2400 wasn't enough.
Through a post on the Prodig.org email digest: HP B9180 in depth review with comparisons to the R2400. I'm stunned by the technologies on offer in this printer. It really looks like an incredible option.Labels: printers

I finally gave up on large format printers. The prohibitive cost of the inks and papers was one thing - but what really got me was the Epson head cleaning scam. Unless you print each and everyday - the heads need cleaning which uses lots of ink.
In the end I keep an A4 printer for small stuff but use online printers for the big stuff - save your cash (and then spend it on lenses and other trinkets!!)
