Still at it

My mother reckons my car starting issue could be a timing realted thing. It nearly freaked me this evening when it evenually started (3rd time). After being a bit jerky (as if I had let the clutch out too much) it suddenly sped off and then got jerky again. Bearing in mind I park near the local Garda (police) station, with a few Gardai about, I had reason to be nervous. Not that I was in the wrong, just the less contact the better! Once the car is going she'd fine..

it could very well be the timing, but if it is stalling after the engine has been cold, overnight for instance, and not so much after you would stop and go on short trips, then it may be issue with the fuel injectors beig a bit clogged. It could also be the spark plugs, that is the cheapest fix of all.

Congrats on the driving! I remember how utterly stressed I was when I first got my license, it gets better quickly.

It was good to meet you in Galway a few weeks ago Sean, and thanks for takig the picture of Bren and I, it is the best one I've got :)

I'll be back in September and would happily volunteer my tattoo up ;)
